Mecklenburg County Air Quality Program

Dunn Solutions Group created a website which allows Mecklenburg citizens to view air quality service requests, violations, and plant information. The website presents real time data from a windows based workflow management system that we also designed and developed.
The solution, known as the Environmental Protection Information Control system (EPIC+), provides the following capabilities:
·         Initiating Service Requests for public environmental concerns.
·         Managing the workflow of the Service Request review and approval steps.
·         Tracking the historic activities and emissions of various facilities.
·         Creating, assigning, and tracking internal developmental goals.
·         Ad-hoc reporting on all system data elements. 
·         A web based interface for the public to self serve real-time information regarding environmental concerns in their area.
In addition to the system itself, deliverables of the engagement included customized Business Objects (reporting tool) mentoring, a detailed administration and installation manual, and several other technical documents describing the development environment.
