When St. Jude Medical’s decided to leverage SAP Business Objects™ XI solutions, experts from Dunn Solutions Group helped them achieve an Integrated Business Intelligence "BI" Reporting platform combining their SAP and Non SAP data raw data into real knowledge.

St. Jude makes world-famous Pace Makers and other health care related products. Its products are used to save lives. Manufacturing such lifesaving products cost effectively requires Business Intelligence and optimized business processes. St. Jude Medical runs on SAP. The SAP BI environment provides very rich information on day-to-day operations, company’s strategic insight and measures on its Key Performance Indicators "KPI". Getting all of that business data to the hands of the business for analytical purpose with autonomy from IT was made possible by experts from Dunn Solutions Group.

Implementation of the SAP Integration kit provided the proof of concept for St. Jude to embrace the SAP road map and derive key benefits of SAP Business Objects.

With the first phase of the BI initiative completed, it is time to move forward. Everyone at St. Jude can now use SAP Business Objects™ XI’s user-friendly web interface to gather critical information, perform ad hoc analysis and create their own reports. By shifting reporting tasks to its information consumers, the company’s IS department can spend their productive time in making SAP data available to the end users. SAP Business Objects integration has given the business users and giving autonomy from IT for their reporting needs.
