Flexible and Powerful Software, in a Bundled Solution
Map Intelligence uses GIS software from ESRI or Pitney Bowes (MapInfo), and others, to add location capabilities to the SAP BusinessObjects server environment. A turnkey Map Intelligence Server utilizes GeoServer, an Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)-compliant map server. Because the Map Intelligence Server is OGC-compliant, Map Intelligence can utilize any OGC-compliant map server, making it possible to use Google Earth for powerful 3-D visualizations, and Google Maps as a web-service to display images and data.
