Six Sigma Business Scorecard

Looking for a new way to assess corporate performance, Praveen Gupta, president of Accelper Consulting and one of the members of the original Motorola Six Sigma team, developed Six Sigma Business Scorecard (hear Praveen talk about the scorecard here). Designed to spark a revolution in performance measurement, Six Sigma Business Scorecard is a hybrid of Six Sigma and the well-established Balanced Scorecard. Applying Six Sigma concepts to the assessment of overall business performance, the Scorecard offers seven new key metrics, a clearly defined measurement system and a new Business Performance Index.

Working in partnership with Praveen Gupta and Accelper Consulting, Dunn Solutions Group has built a dashboard solution that offers a powerful new way to visualize, monitor and manage the performance information provided by Six Sigma Business Scorecard.  Developed as a complete, out-of-the-box solution, our Six Sigma Business Scorecard Dashboard delivers the seven key performance categories to the desktop, making trends visible and trouble spots obvious.

The main screen features a snapshot view of organization performance, including the overall Sigma Level and overall corporate wellness, which is expressed as the Business Performance Index (BPIn). From there, users can click through to the seven performance categories and sub-metrics. The seven category screens deliver an overall category performance view, as well as detailed sub-metrics data.

Our complete solution includes pre-built dashboards and pre-defined key performance indicators (KPIs) that map directly to the Scorecard’s key elements and sub-metrics, plus a data model and sample reports.  Looking underneath the covers, the solution is built on the advanced and proven BusinessObjects XI R2 enterprise platform.
