William M. Dunn founded Dunn Systems Inc., now Dunn Solutions Group Inc., in September 1988. The
firm (incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1990) grew and prospered through the 1990s, becoming
a solid and successful consulting firm serving a variety of "Fortune 500" companies.
As it grew, Dunn Solutions Group added several practice areas to compliment its
original custom application development services. Quality assurance and business intelligence
practice areas were added in 1995, and user interface development and web design/services were
added in 2001 with the acquisition of Streams, a well-known and highly regarded Chicago web design
firm.
The firm expanded geographically too. In 1994, Dunn Solutions Group added an office in
Raleigh, N.C. And in late 2005, expanded again to Minneapolis, when it acquired Lemanix, an
application development consulting firm.
In January 2007, Dunn Solutions Group was acquired by Cranes Software International, a
Bangalore, India-based software and solutions provider with offices and subsidiaries in the North
America, Europe and Asia.
